Fire Danger Now “Very High”
Fire officials in Grand Teton National Park and on Bridger Teton National Park have just elevated the fire rating to “very high” after reviewing the fire indices including moisture content, the projected weather and the availability resources to fight fires. At this time, the area is in stage one fire restrictions limiting the use of open fires to designated recreation sites having permanent fire rings and limiting smoking to inside buildings or vehicles, or in areas that are cleared of vegetation at least three feet in all directions.
