Moose-Wilson Road Temporarily Closed

construction

The unpaved section of the Moose-Wilson Road in Grand Teton National Park will be closed for about 28 hours tomorrow through Thursday to allow for dust abatement work. Park officials say the closure will be put in place beginning at 4:00 am on Wednesday and reopen by 8:00 am on Thursday barring an equipment malfunction or rainy weather. Local residents and park visitors are advised to plan ahead and use an alternate route because this temporary closure prevents the ability to make a ‘through trip’ on the Moose-Wilson Road.  Those wishing to access the Laurance Rockefeller Preserve or Death Canyon trailhead may do so by driving south from Moose on the paved portion of the Moose-Wilson Road.
