Medicaid Meeting Slated Here
The Wyoming Department of Health has agreed to add another city, specifically Jackson, to their meeting schedule regarding Medicaid Options in the state. The Medicaid Options Study is authorized by the Wyoming Legislature to analyze the cost drivers for Medicaid and identify areas within Wyoming Medicaid that may benefit from redesign, and to evaluate design options for Medicaid. Originally the State was only going to have their meetings in 5 major Wyoming cities. State Representative Keith Gingery had requested that the Department of Health add Jackson to the list, and they agreed. The Medicaid Options meeting will be on Tuesday, July 31st in the County Commissioner’s Chambers at 200 S. Willow Street from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
