Crews Mop Up Fontenelle Fire
Fire crews on the Fontinelle Fire near Big Piney have made more progress on the 64-thousand acre blaze which is now at 80% containment. Forest officials say that their fireline resources continue to patrol and mop-up existing portions of the fire containment line and continue towork on securing the western edge of the perimeter. Rehabilitation efforts are nearly complete on several areas of the fire which were successfully contained. Currently, there are 574 people working the fire, down from over nearly 900 at its height.
