Another Lightning Fire Quickly Contained
A small lightning-sparked fire in the Pilgrim Creek drainage of Grand Teton National Park was quickly contained Sunday afternoon. Firefighters were aided by a downpour in the area and some of the firefighters who initially responded were quickly released from the scene. Meanwhile, Park officials remind visitors that the danger of fire remains “high” and open fires are permitted only within the fire rings of improved camping areas.
