RRR Bag

The Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Campaign and The Wort Hotel are marketing a new Jackson Hole RRR Bag. The bag is designed by local artist John Frechette and made by Chico Bag offeringan alternative to using disposable plastic bags. The new bag is currently available for purchase in-room at The Wort Hotel, as well as at The Silver Dollar Mercantile and CocoLove for $9.95. Organizers say the goal of the Jackson Hole RRR Bag is to address tourism’s impact on Teton County’s waste stream and to educate visitors to the valley. Since its inception, the RRR initiative has contributed to a change in this community’s diversion rate – from 21.2% to 34.8% which is slightly higher than the national average.
