Air Service Grows In Jackson Hole

airport tarmac

With two new direct flights to major cities carrying over from this summer and one more to be added in December, Jackson Hole Airport will be providing three additional flights for the skiing public this winter.  Airport Manager Ray Bishop says direct flights between Houston, Texas and San Francisco, California were added last month, but the flights to Houston will end at the end of this summer.  However, he says a flight connecting Newark, New Jersey with Jackson is to be added in December bringing to nine, the number of connections with major airports.  Bishop says that means this winter, Jackson will have direct flights to Denver, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and now Newark. Bishop says the addition of the Newark flight is particularly exciting given the number of people visiting the area from that region. Jackson Hole Airport already has direct flights to nine major cities for the summer with seasonal flights to Houston.
