Giants In Consolation Bracket
The Jackson Hole Giants have found themselves in the consolation bracket at the end of their second game in the South District American Legion Baseball Tournament being played this week in Jackson. After a win over the Torrington Tigers on Wednesday, the Giants went down 5 to 10 to the Wheatland Lobos last night. The teams went into the seventh inning tied up one to one, but the Lobos broke loose with nine runs in the bottom of the seventh. Giants tried to get back into the game with a run in the 8th and three runs in the ninth, but couldn’t make up the difference. The tournament continues today and tomorrow at Giants Field.
