The Jackson Hole Giants Baseball Team had mixed results during last week’s three-day South District American Legion Tournament, winning their first game Wednesday against the Torrington Tigers with a resounding final score of 29 to 4.  The following day, the Wheatland Lobos put the Giants into the consolation bracket with a disappointing score of 10 to 9.  Friday saw the Giants back on their game, winning 17 to 2 over the Cheyenne Hawks and then 10 go 9 over the Evanston Outlaws.  In the final game Saturday, the Laramie Rangers ended the tournament for the Giants, defeating Jackson 4 to 1.  With that loss, the Giants’ 2012 season was ended.
