Problem Grizzly Relocated
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department trapped and relocated an adult female grizzly bear on Sunday. The bear was captured for killing a domestic calf on a Bridger-Teton National Forest Service grazing allotment north of Pinedale. In cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Shoshone National Forest, the bear was relocated to the Sunlight Creek drainage approximately 15 miles southwest of Crandall. The release site is located in currently occupied grizzly bear habitat.
