With one week to go before the primary election, the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Lunch Club will host the second joint candidate forum today at Snow King Resort from 12:00-1:30pm.
The forum will give an opportunity for candidates to answer questions about housing, transit, and taxes.
Lisa daCosta (R), Trey Davis (R), Greg Epstein (D), Nicole Gill (R), Natalia Macker (D), and Sandy Shuptrine (D) are all running for two openings on the Teton County Board of Commissioners. Macker is the incumbent.
Chris Christian (D), Marylee White (D), and Bill Winney (R) are working to unseat Marti Halverson (R) from Wyoming House District 22.
One22, Jackson PFLAG and Shelter JH are hosting a forum focused on the issues
of equality and justice, non-discrimination and housing, with candidates for
town council, mayoral and county commissioner seats.
The panel will take place Thursday, August 11, 6:00 – 8:30 PM at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Hansen Hall.
