Rapid rises in creeks and rivers expected Sunday afternoon
through Monday afternoon…
.Creeks and rivers have been running at high levels during the
last two days due to accelerated snowmelt runoff. Widespread
mountain rain showers expected on Sunday will cause additional
significant increases in creek and river levels. Many basins will
receive up to one half inch of rain Sunday morning through Sunday
night with local amounts of up to one inch possible with
thunderstorms.
Several creeks and rivers will reach flows and river levels to
cause minor to moderate flooding. The flooding flows will
continue through Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a
Flood Watch for portions of central Wyoming, north central
Wyoming, and northwest Wyoming, including the following areas,
in central W… A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
