There won’t be a lot of competition during recess in Albany County’s Cozy Hollow School. That’s because there will be only one student attending there next fall. The school which is 60 miles north of Laramie is isolated from access to other schools by impassable roads during the wintertime. Under such conditions, Wyoming law requires on-site education for isolated students when it is impossible to transport them to another school. A similar arrangement had been made in Teton County in the 1980s to provide schooling at Goosewing Ranch for isolated students there.
