Jellen Heads TCEF

by Jackson Hole Radio News

Teton County Education Foundation has announced the hiring of its first full-time Executive Director, Jennifer Jellen. Jellen comes to the foundation with twenty years of non-profit and business leadership experience, the last eight years of which have been in Jackson.

Jellen says she considers this an exciting time to join the Teton County Education Foundation, which is really about helping students see what is possible. The programs that the foundation supports provide essential opportunities to explore those possibilities, to learn and grow, both in the classroom and in the community.

For nearly a decade, TCEF has worked with the teachers, staff, and students of Teton County School District #1to fund programs that are not fully covered by the district’s budget.

The Foundation gives more than $200,000 in grants to public schools and classrooms each year and supports more than a dozen after school activities in science, history, exploration, and the arts.
