The number of passengers catching flights out of Jackson Hole during November nearly duplicated what was seen in November of 2018, but those arriving here declined slightly during the month. That, according to the latest report of activity from Jackson Hole Airport. According to the report, 13,763 people arrived on the 170 flights that served Jackson Hole during the month, and 13,437 departed to one of the 4 cities served by the six air carriers. Still, the valley has enjoyed a 16% increase in arrivals by air over the past 11 months, and a 17% increase in departures. Those increases have come as the air carriers increased service to the valley by 10%. Altogether, year-to-date 427,189 air travelers passed through the Jackson Hole air terminal from inbound flights, and 412,774 flew out. Air service increases for the season this week with direct service to 12 destinations.
