Grand Teton Music Festival CEO Andrew Todd has announced his resignation from the organization. Todd made his announcement Friday night at a jazz concert in Jackson sponsored by the Festival. Todd had been at the center of a controversy surrounding the make-up of next seasons festival orchestra which drew a lot of fire from orchestra members and patrons alike. However, During Todd’s tenure, the Grand Teton Music Festival grew from 35 events during the summer to 100 events annually, including the Winter Festival. Todd expanded summer programs, created a community concert series, and launched a scholarship competition. As yet, no announcement has been made regarding a search for Todd’s replacement. Until then, he says he will work with the organization to help make the transition.
