Idaho’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained at 2.9 percent in December for the sixth consecutive month. An additional 2,329 people made themselves available for work in December, pushing Idaho’s seasonally adjusted labor force up to 889,092. Teton County, Idaho experienced a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 2.1% which was unchanged from November. Neighboring Bonneville County remained at 2.3% for the second month in a row. Idaho reports that seasonally-adjusted nonfarm jobs grew by 2.9% in December – the second highest growth rate in the nation.
