More Time For Multimodal Corridor Study

by Jackson Hole Radio News

The comment period for the Wilson Multimodal Corridor Study Project’s alternatives has been extended to allow more time for the public to review and provide feedback to the planning team. The virtual open house public comment period will be extended from today until October 19th. The open house (which can be found online at ) displays a series of graphics that describe potential alternatives to the project. The public is invited to give feedback to the project’s planning team to identify and craft potential transportation improvements on Wyoming Highway 22, in and around Wilson. The Wilson Multimodal Corridor Study Project will look at developing a long-range transportation plan that will accommodate motorists, transit users, bicyclists, and pedestrians in a manner that fits within the desired character of the community, from approximately Wenzel Lane to Elliott Cemetery Road. The transportation plan will consider a variety of improvements, such as vehicular capacity and safety, access management, pathway development, safe routes to school, pedestrian crossings, and corridor aesthetics.
