Old Bill’s Celebration is Virtual

by Jackson Hole Radio News

The Old Bills annual celebration to announce the results of the year’s fun run and pledge drive will have to be virtual this year, rather than at the National Museum of Wildlife Art as it has in past years. The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole announced that it will celebrate the culmination of Old Bill’s 2020 on Monday, October 26 at 3:00 pm with a video message from Laurie Andrews, Community Foundation President, announcing the total amount raised through this year’s event and the inaugural Spirit of Old Bill’s Award. The video will be posted on oldbills.org in addition to the foundation’s Facebook and Instagram channels. Then, on Tuesday, October 27, representatives from participating nonprofits should pick up their grant checks at the Community Foundation during the “drive-by” Old Bill’s check distribution. Checks will be distributed throughout the day outside the Community Foundation office on Simpson Street in alphabetical order by the organization’s name:   A through C from 9 to  10 am  D through I, from 10 to11 am,   J from 11 am to 1 pm,  K through R  from: 1 to 2 pm,  S from 2 to 3 pm,  T from 3 to 4 pm, and U through Z from 4 to 5 pm. As usual, any designated representative of the non-profit can pick up the grant check during the organization’s appointed time.
