Wintery Weekend for Jackson Hole

/
Cold Snap Broke Records

You may want to make the most of the next couple of warm days as the weather will take a decidedly winter-like turn as we head into the weekend.

A mass of cold air will move south out of Canada and impact Jackson Hole beginning Wednesday evening.

A high-pressure system in Alaska is helping to push the cold temperatures into the Cowboy State.

Snowfall is expected in the Tetons and temperatures are forecast to drop into the single digits by Saturday and Sunday nights.

Forecast high temperatures will be near 50 on Wednesday but retreat to the low thirties for highs as we reach Saturday and Sunday and could drop below zero on Sunday night.

A ridge of high pressure should return to the valley and escort more mild temperatures heading towards Halloween.
