COVID-19 Closes Astoria Hot Springs

by Jackson Hole Radio News

Astoria Park Conservancy has decided to close the Hot Springs facility for the time being due to the increase in local COVID cases and community spread. Park officials explain that this closure comes after careful consideration, with the safety of staff and visitors at the forefront of the decision. Reopening will be based on improved public health metrics and confidence in the ability to keep staff and visitors safe. Current reservations will be refunded as soon as possible. In their statement about the closure, Astoria Park Conservancy stated, “We have been humbled by the outpouring of support around Astoria’s opening and apologize for the impact this closure will have on our friends and neighbors, who were looking forward to their visit.” Astoria Park Conservancy’s virtual education and wellness programming will continue during the facility’s closure.
