Grizzly Bear 399 and her brood have been spotted south of Grand Teton National Park once again. Wyoming Game and Fish Spokesperson Sara DiRienzo confirmed that 399 had indeed left the park again but was reluctant to provide any more specific information about her location. Wildlife officials urge caution among drivers in the area, and suggest residents be careful not to have attractants outside their homes including pet food, bird feeders or garbage cans, and be watchful as they walk their dogs. DiRienzo again emphasizes that people need to give the bears plenty of space and allow them to return to their normal habitat. Particularly, DiRienzo says, do not approach the bears for a photo op. It would legally be considered harassing the bears which is a federal offense.
