Teton County Schools have put a stop to in-person attendance because a large number of staff are out of school due to isolation and quarantine orders for coronavirus exposure.
During their Regular Meeting the Teton County School District #1 board approved an unanticipated transition to virtual, remote learning for all TCSD students from November 16th through the 20th. They tentatively plan on returning to face-to-face instruction on Monday, November 30th if conditions allow.
The increasing number of COVID-19 cases and increasing positivity rate in the Jackson community were also considered.
Meanwhile, the Friday “CREST” program for elementary school students is canceled, and all activities and athletic events including games and practices will be canceled beginning November 16th.
