Teton County COVID Risk at Red

Teton County Health Department officials have moved the COVID-19 risk level back to Red for high risk. They are asking residents to download the state-supported Care19 Apps on your smartphone. The apps will help track where and who you have interacted with for contact tracing if someone you have been near contracts the virus.

The state of Wyoming has also obtained at-home Vault Test Kits and residents can order them at no cost. The tests include tele-health appointments to make sur the tests are done correctly.

Teton District Health Officer, Dr. Travis Riddell is asking community members to wear masks at all times in public settings, stay home if sick even with mild symptoms, maintain 6 feet of distance whenever possible, and frequently wash your hands.

Riddell also recommends against attending large gatherings, and to avoid crowded indoor spaces and interactions with high-risk individuals

The town will host a COVID-19 Community Update at 3:00pm on Friday, November 13.
