by Jackson Hole Radio News

Teton County’s three ski resorts will again be offering fireworks displays to help ring in the new year, but the familiar torchlight and glow-worm parades have been called off at two of the resorts due to the COVID pandemic. At Jackson hole Mountain resort, fireworks begin at 6:00 pm Thursday night, Snow King Mountain’s fireworks are scheduled for 7:30 pm, and the display at Grand Targhee will take place at after their annual torchlight parade beginning at 4:00 pm. The three resorts echo the guidance of the health department in calling for spectators to exercise social distance when viewing the fireworks displays – possibly even viewing them from your car.
