Teton County Health urges CDC guidelines

by Jackson Hole Radio News

Yogi Berra was once quoted as saying, “It ain’t over til it’s over.” That’s pretty much the message from Teton County Health Department who encourages businesses and organizations to follow guidelines from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding facemasks, social distancing, and venue capacity, even though state guidelines have been relaxed.

Teton County Director of Health, Jodie Pond stated, “We feel it is important to continue to follow guidance to continue to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 in our community.

These guidelines are based on what we know works to decrease the number of cases in our community and keep businesses open. Teton County’s order for the mandatory wearing of face masks remains in effect through April 16th.
