Game and Fish says leave newborn wildlife alone

One of the wonders of springtime in this part of the country is the ability to see a wide variety of newborn animals – be it fawns, bison calves, bear cubs, or signets on the pond. While the young pronghorn, owlets and other babies are charismatic and an incredible sight to view and to photograph, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department urges people who come across young animals to leave the newborn wildlife alone and keep a distance. Even though it may appear at times that a young animal has been orphaned, the mother is most likely not far away. For the sake of the animal and your own safety, leave the baby alone.
