Illegal videos shot in Yellowstone

A comedian making a video of hitting golf balls from several locations in Yellowstone National Park last week has park officials teed-off.  On April 26th, the Billings Gazette reports Jake Adams was videotaped hitting a golf ball along the banks of a river in the park and later from the top of Mammoth Hot Springs travertine terraces, and finally from a boardwalk next to a hot springs pool.

National Park officials say they are investigating the incident. The park explained to reporters, “He violated regulations designed to preserve Yellowstone and protect the experience of other visitors. The National Park Service is investigating this illegal act.”

Adams is taping himself hitting golf balls in all 50 states over the period of 30 days ostensibly to emphasize a different (less stuffy) side of golf.
