Fire danger increases

Yellowstone National Park officials have raised the fire danger in the park moderate now. Currently, there are no active wildland fires in the park and there are no fire restrictions in place or planned in the park. None-the-less, campfires are only permitted within established fire rings in campgrounds and some backcountry campsites. Of course, campfires must always be attended and be cold to the touch before abandoning. Visitors can stay informed about current fire activity in Yellowstone at nps.gov/yell/learn/management/current-fire-activity.htm
