Gasoline prices continue to rise as summer travel increases nationwide. According to AAA Auto Club, the price of a gallon of unleaded regular across the 50 states now averages $3.07 – a penny more than last week. The average in Wyoming increased by two cents to $3.12 per gallon now with the lowest price found in Newcastle at $2.70 per gallon. In Jackson, prices ranged from $3.19 per gallon of unleaded regular to $3.60 for a valley-wide average of $3.39. In Teton Valley Idaho, the price for a gallon of regular has stayed steady for several weeks now at $3.39.
