Teton Valley Schools require staff masks

Teton Valley Kids Stay In School

Beginning today, all school staff at Teton County School District 401 in Teton Valley will be required to wear a mask while in school. According to School Superintendent Monte Woolstenhulme, this requirement will be in place for two weeks, as the district follows its school-level data on absences. After that, another evaluation will determine if there is a need to continue this measure.  Woolstenhulme says the board hopes this will help reduce the incidents of absences for staff and students due to COVID and other illnesses. So far this school year, 46 staff members and 80 students have tested positive for COVID in District 401. Woolstenhulme stresses that vaccines are encouraged for all students and staff.
