Mayer “Voice of the Jackson Hole Broncs” passes

Long-time play-by-play sports announcer on Jackson Hole Radio and later KVRG FM, Danny Mayer passed away Wednesday at his home in Afton. The announcement of his passing did not mention his cause of death.

Debate Tournament Will Happen

Mayer had been a familiar voice of the Jackson Hole Broncs for 21 years, before hanging up his headset last March. A memorial service to celebrate the Mayer’s life is planned at 11:00 am on Monday, at First Baptist Church, on West Kelly Avenue in Jackson. It will be followed by lunch in the fellowship hall. Mayer was 71.
