The Teton County Idaho Sheriff’s Office is advising residents there to be aware of a mountain lion that was sighted yesterday around the farm lands near the Learning Academy south of Driggs.
The animal ultimately left the area and no one was harmed. However, that doesn’t mean it won’t come back. Sheriff’s officials urge the public to be diligent and ever aware of their surroundings if they are in the area.
Deputies were unable to locate the animal but Idaho Fish and Game was notified of the encounter.
