Teton Pass has been closed due to an avalanche.
Authorities are reporting Wyoming 22 is closed in both directions as of 12:30 p.m. Estimated reopen time is not known.
Several eyewitnesses report the incident was skier-triggered. That has not been confirmed. JH Radio has learned a van has been trapped in the resulting snow slide. Extraction is underway. Travelers are asked to avoid the area while emergency crews and WYDOT clean things up on the pass.
