While Columbus Day is a federal holiday, it does not pertain to everyone in Jackson Hole. Those facilities that will be closed include the banks, post offices, and the trash transfer station. However, the town and county offices will be open for business as usual. Regular hours of operation will also be observed at the library, the recreation center and START bus. Meanwhile, the Jackson Hole Lions Club will be distributing American flags to their display locations outside area businesses.
