The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole is inviting the community to an informal gathering to explore its newly released Strategic Plan for the years 2025-2027. Scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Teton County Library’s Ordway Auditorium in Jackson, WY, this event offers an opportunity for residents to engage directly with Foundation staff.
The new strategic plan emphasizes several key areas:
- Initiatives: Focusing on Behavioral Health, Education and Families, and Housing Solutions.
- Impact Investing: Strategies to leverage investments for community benefit.
- New Office Space: Details on how the Foundation will utilize its new space.
- Grants: Information on how grants will be distributed under the new plan.
Laurie Andrews, President of the Community Foundation, highlighted the plan’s community-driven approach: “We believe in the power of community engagement, that community drives our work, and our updated strategic plan directly reflects the voices of our neighbors.”
The development of this strategic plan involved extensive community interaction throughout 2024. Listening sessions, feedback from nonprofit partners, invested partners, and board members all contributed to shaping the plan. This process began at the Foundation’s Board Retreat in June 2024, with the final plan being approved by the Board of Directors in December 2024.
This event is an open invitation for community members to learn more about the plan, ask questions, and provide further input on how the Foundation can best serve Jackson Hole over the next three years.
