The request to rezone an historic piece of property in downtown Jackson will be postponed until further notice at the request of the applicant.
The item had been scheduled for discussion at tonights Town Council meeting.
Developers were seeking an increase in development rights for the lots located on East Broadway. The proposal has sparked concern from local residents, some who have backed a plan to used public money to buy the parcel and preserve the historic buildings on it.
