The Bridger Teton National Forest is going to start burning slash piles on the Big Piney and Pinedale Ranger Districts. They will start in May 2, 2023 and will go on until the end of May or early June.
Fire and fuel managers will check that everything is safe before they start burning the piles. Smoke and flames will be visible, but firefighters will be there to make sure everything is okay. If you want to learn more, you can call the Big Piney Ranger District or the Pinedale Ranger District, or check out their website or social media pages.
