A Freedom, Wyoming resident died Sunday as the result of a crash on County Road 116 near Thane. Wyoming Highway Patrol says the early-morning accident involved the victim’s car rolling over after it left the road at a high rate of speed.
The lone occupant was identified as Jeffeson Lysager. Troopers says Lysager was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Speed is being investigated as the potential contributing factor to the accident.
This is the 26th fatality on Wyoming’s roadways in 2022 compared with 30 in 2021, 25 in 2020, and 54 in 2019 as of this date.
