The average price for gasoline in Jackson Hole fell 1¢ over the past week, with the average of prices surveyed by Gasbuddy this week totaling $3.23 per gallon of unleaded regular. This week’s prices in the Valley ranged from $3.15 to $3.40 per gallon. Jackson’s average is still substantially higher than the Wyoming state average of $2.82 per gallon which is down 2¢ from last week. The lowest price in Wyoming was found in Gillette several stations priced gasoline at $2.46 a gallon. Nationally, Amerine Woodyard of the Energy Information Administration says the average has decreased over the past week to $2.73 a gallon.
That’s down 1 1/2 cents from a week ago. Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at 3.60 a gallon, down 3.6 cents from a week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at 2.42 a gallon, down 4.9 cents.
Gasoline surveyed in Teton Valley held steady at $3.19 a gallon.
