A home near the Alpine Wyoming Airport was destroyed early Monday morning in an explosion of unknown origin. Lieutenant Brian Andrews of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office says the incident occurred at about 4:30 am, completely demolishing the home. Fortunately, Andrews says there was no one at home at the time and there were no injuries. The incident is currently under investigation, but emergency responders reported a strong smell of propane in the vicinity.
