Idaho Gives, a statewide fundraising initiative led by the Idaho Nonprofit Center and powered by Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU), begins today, April 28, 2025, and runs through May 1, uniting Idahoans to support over 600 nonprofits. The Teton Valley Foundation is rallying community support for its Kotler Arena Expansion project, which aims to add three new locker rooms and essential spectator space to enhance local recreational facilities. Megan LaTorre, Executive Director of the Teton Valley Foundation, encourages residents to donate just five minutes to contribute at IdahoGives.org, emphasizing that every donation, regardless of size, will make a meaningful impact on the project’s success.
Donors can participate by making a contribution to the “Growing with Our Community” campaign, sharing the initiative via text, email, or social media with the hashtag #IdahoGives, or personally encouraging others to give. Last year, Idaho Gives raised $4.3 million through 13,600 donors, with a 2025 goal of $4.65 million from 15,000 donors. The platform, hosted on GiveGab, allows tax-deductible donations and options to cover administrative fees, ensuring nonprofits like the Teton Valley Foundation receive maximum support.
