Members of Teton County Idaho Search and Rescue crossed the new year in the mountains southwest of Driggs. The county received a call about a snowmobiler needing assistance below Elk Flats in the Big holes and responded with 17 members supported by ten members from Maddison County Search and Rescue and friends and family of missing person. The searchers located the man and returned from the area by 1:30am. Search and Rescue leaders praised the teams for their efforts, especially considering the extreme cold New Year’s Eve.
