The final crunch is on at Jackson Hole Airport. With the runway completed now, work is underway to finish preparing the remodeled terminal to receive passengers. This week, workers are laying carpet and bringing in refurbished furniture.
TSA is installing the screening equipment into an expanded screening area, and a temporary café is being set up in the secure holding area in lieu of Jedediah’s Restaurant which will not be completed until the winter season flights begin arriving.
The new waiting area is being equipped with power receptacles in the seating area for cell phones, i-pads and laptops and workstations have been constructed around the perimeter of the waiting area. The airport is slated to reopen next Tuesday, June 28th.
