The Jackson Hole Fire/EMS department has recently added a Pierce Enforcer Rescue Pumper to its fleet. This post outlines the capabilities of the new vehicle and what it means for emergency services in Jackson, WY.
Paid for by the Town of Jackson and Teton County, the $704,494 rescue pumper is stationed at Fire Station 7 in Adams Canyon. Designed for various emergency situations, it’s capable of pumping 1,500 gallons of water per minute. The truck also offers increased storage for tools and medical supplies, including extraction tools for vehicle accidents and gear for wildland firefighting.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for January 3, 2024, at Adams Canyon Station 7 to introduce the rescue pumper to the community.
