The Town of Jackson Planning Commission meets Wednesday evening to discuss the approval of the Central Wyoming College Campus plan on High School Road.
The project, which consists of a 20,500 square feet single-story building, is on two acres of land that is zoned Public/Semi-Public and will be built with funds from the Teton County Specific Purpose Excise Tax.
Central Wyoming College, whose main campus is located in Riverton, has operated an outreach program since 1976 and currently offers associate degrees and
certificates in nearly 60 academic areas as well English as a second language, Adult Basic Education, and High School Equivalency. The program currently operates at the Center for The Arts.
The new CWC campus will consolidate their programs under one roof.
Town planners are recommending approval of the sketch plan and conditional use permit.
The meeting begins Wednesday, January 17th, at 530 PM at the Town Hall on Pearl.
