New Year’s Eve in Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole transforms into a bustling hub of activity during the holiday season. Beyond its world-class skiing, the area offers an array of winter activities and events. This New Year’s Eve, locals and visitors alike can anticipate a memorable celebration amidst the stunning scenery of the Teton Range.

Dining Delights: Jackson Hole’s culinary scene presents a variety of dining options for New Year’s Eve. From international fusion meals to local delicacies, eateries like Snake River Grill, Silver Dollar Bar & Grill, and Four Seasons offer special menus to mark the occasion.

Torchlight Parades and Fireworks:

The evening’s festivities include torchlight parades at Snow King Mountain, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and Grand Targhee Resort. These mesmerizing processions precede spectacular fireworks displays, lighting up the sky in celebration of the new year.

  • Snow King Mountain: The Town Hill will celebrate this New Year’s Eve, by hosting a Torchlight Parade at approximately 7 pm; Fireworks will follow immediately after at roughly 7:30 pm. To learn how to participate in the Torchlight Parade.

  • Jackson Hole Mountain Resort: This New Year’s Eve, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will kick off the New Year’s celebrations with the kids Glow Worm Parade. They will ski down from the Sweetwater Gondola! No registration is required, parents and children must be ready to load the Sweetwater Gondola at 4:45 pm. Afterwards, the traditional Torch Light Parade will begin at 6 pm. Fireworks will follow.   
  • Grand Targhee Resort: The ‘Ghee will start the New Year’s celebration with a New Year’s Eve Rail Jam with both men’s and women’s categories, and some great prizes for the winners  There will be both a kids and adult Torch Light Parade. Check-in for kids is at 4:15 pm and adults is at 5:30 pm. The parades will start at 4:45 pm and 5:45 pm respectively. Fireworks will start at 6:15 pm.

Dancing and Entertainment: The night continues with live music and dancing at various venues, including the Silver Dollar Bar & Grill and The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. The Four Seasons and Grand Targhee also host lively events to dance the year away.
