One22 Resource Center has launched its annual Holiday Gift Drive for the season.
The Holiday Gift Drive program pairs gift-givers with individuals and families who need assistance purchasing holiday gifts.
One22 collects holiday wish lists from local households with support from nonprofit partners, and donors purchase items from the wish lists, delivering the gifts to One22 Resource Center offices in mid-December.
Families then pick up gifts the following week.
Last year, this program served nearly 400 individuals.
Generous partners make the Holiday Gift Drive bright
The Holiday Gift Drive operates in partnership with Climb Wyoming, Teton Youth & Family Services, the Senior Center of Jackson Hole, Turning Point: A Pregnancy Resource Center, and Community Entry Services. It is supported by the Bank of Jackson Hole, St. John’s Episcopal Church, the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church each collaborate to make sure their clients or members are aware of the wish lists in the form of angel trees. Folks interested in being gift givers can pick an ornament off of a Christmas tree to select gifts to shop for.
This is the first year that Bank of Jackson Hole has partnered with the long-standing One22 Program and Bank President Dawn Pruett said, “We are so pleased to support One22’s Holiday Gift Drive this season. This is such an important service for our community and the Angel Tree is a long-standing tradition at BoJH. Not only can community members come by our Main Banking Center to pick up an angel, if people do not have time to shop this year and would like to make a donation to support the program, we can accept those at any of our banking centers.”
For any community members that would like to support the work of One22, make a donation by visiting their website’s online donation page to make a gift at one22jh.org.
