The Wyoming Department of Health announced a second death in the state due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. According to the state the death involved a hospitalized, older Laramie County man previously identified as a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 case. State Epidemiologist Dr. Alexia Harrist points out that while anyone can get sick and has a chance of a serious illness with COVID-19, those who are aged 65 and older and people who have certain medical conditions are more likely to experience complications and become severely ill. There have been 287 confirmed and 105 probable cases reported so far from across Wyoming.
