Six figure skaters from the Skating Club of Jackson Hole returned from competition in Salt Lake City over the weekend with a total of five medals including three golds, a silver and a bronze. The competition, held at the Olympic Oval in Salt Lake City was the first ever for Taylor Dalebout, Alicia West, Madison West, and Hazel Moser, who participated in the event along with Maelin Coin and Rudi Brown.
The club, under the leadership of Skating Director Lacey Merrell, operates September through March, and is now on summer break with the Snow King Sports and Events Center having melted the ice for dry floor events over the next several months. The club provides skating lessons and programs for students from pre-kindergarten through adult.
